This Culturs TV Wednesday Energy Medicine Minute comes from Big Bear, California, where Culturs experts Dondi Dahlin and Titanya Dahlin share an Energy Medicine technique designed to help boost your metabolism.
“Meridians are pathways of energy that run throughout your body; and you want to keep them clear,” according to Titanya. This particular energy exercise connects Triple Warmer and Spleen meridians. This will help you metabolize food and hormones, and is a good boost for your immune system.
This is a great technique to incorporate into your routine for weight management, Dondi says.

To begin this exercise, bring both hands to the temples, smooth up and behind the ears, and continue smoothing the skin down the neck and behind the shoulders. Bring the hands forward on the body, crossing them across the front of the shoulders, smooth down the arms, releasing and resting both hands just below the breast on each side of the body.
Continue by keeping contact with the body, smoothing down the outside of both legs, tracing around the insides of both feet, then moving to the inside of each. Next, trace the inside of the feet and continue moving upward along the inside of both legs, flaring out at the hip to the sides of the ribcage, and up to each armpit. Finish by tracing down the sides of the torso to the floating rib and thumping at bottom of the ribcage for energy!
