Puerto Rican/Dominican “King of Bachata” Romeo World Tour

Romeo [ro-mi-o] Santos a legendary singer made his appearance in Miami American Airlines Arena (AAA) on June 20, 2015. Romeo tour called #VOL2WORLDTOUR consisted of a live concert in 22 states around the United States.

Romeo was born in the Bronx, New York, whose mother was Puerto Rican and Father was Dominican. As a typical Latin family his father would be out working in construction while his mother was a stay home mom. After, his humble upbringing and joining of his church choir at the age 12 he began to infuse a passion for music.

In the early 1990s Romeo and his cousins formed a group called “Aventura” in which he was the lead singer. The group quickly became popular releasing top 10 Bachata hits like “El Perdedor”, “Los Infieles”, and “Obsession” by far the most popular song. After, the splitting of “Aventura” in 2007 Romeo solo career gradually rocketed and led him to what the majority of the Latin community ought to believe is the “King of Bachata”.

Romeo success and triumph has quickly escalated allowing him to perform in 2009 for Barrack Obama and selling out New, York Madison Square Garden in 2012 three times. This Latin icon with the “Golden Voice” has earned his path into also making his Hollywood acting debut in the film Furious 7.
