Let me just cut to the chase by saying: When has it become OK to leave the house still wearing your PJs, pajamas, slippers to function out in the public eye?
Thats right, Pajamas and SLIPPERS!
I am being polite when I call them pajamas and slippers. They have become everything-wear. Young people and even adults try to pull this off as normal and exceptable. People all over are leaving arriving to businesses still wearing what they slept in (not sure how many days and nights).
The assumption of not bathing before they left the house is a sure bet to me. To think that someone properly groomed and put night clothing back on for the day’s journey is ludicrous. With it comes the odifferous issue–not to mention, it just looks awful! Not cleaver, not even cute……Stop it!
I know we live in a fast-paced society, but can we try to be fair to our self images (and yes you should care) before entering the outside world.
It is only fair to the person in line behind you at the grocery store… as the stair at the particular odd sleep cowlick in the back of the head of the sleepwalker.
To succeed in life, one has to let people know how they feel about themselves in a positive manner. The “look” of never getting out of bed in not  a step in that direction. The image is an extention of one’s personality. All these things work together.
Let’s leave the fuzzy slippers with animal faces and drawstring polar fleece bottoms in the hamper, put some clothes on and join the world….the slumber party is over for now.
Next stop…flip flops…pleeease.
Haha, this made me laugh! I hate when i see people on campus in jammies and it looks like they just rollled out of bed and haven’t brushed yet. NO thanks! Great article!
I completely agree with this article. What ever happened to dress to impress every day? I find slippers and PJs to be almost disrespectful.
