Katie is originally from St. Simons Island, GA. Between UGA and CSU, she lived around Colorado for four years, worked for a gem and mineral company, and started her own company, Murphy Music, working with Colorado bands handling their booking and management. She enjoys spending time with her kitties, Rager and Luna, seeing live music, exploring the outdoors, and DIY projects. She also has an obsession with microbrews and fried chicken n waffles (or any southern cookin’). Katie is a journalism major with a business minor and plans to attend CSU for her MBA after graduation. She likes to write about music, art, lifestyle and travel.
