Frearson-Tubito is a writer, author and lifelong global nomad whose relationship with the idea of “home” has been shaped by a lifetime of moving between countries, cultures and identities.
A third-generation global nomad and Third Culture Kid herself, Frearson-Tubito has lived in 15 countries and visited more than 50. She is also the mother of four adult TCKs, whose lives have taken them across the globe.
“Beneath a Borrowed Sky” grew from a decade-long fascination with belonging and the question of where — and what — “home” really is when the place you come from is no longer quite enough to define you.
Now based in Italy, Frearson-Tubito writes about home, belonging, identity, motherhood, travel and the complicated beauty of creating a life between cultures.
She is also the founder of Wandering Identity, through which she brings together writing, community and intimate retreats in Puglia.
