In this episode, Culturs Home columnist Kadija Taylor showcases how to enhance your Culturs Celebrations Dinner Party Kit with a tablescape of a particular country, in this case Trinidad and Tobago.

Taylor’s tablescape features the Ibis, the national bird of Trinidad, whose long neck and flowing curves evoke a feminine feel, while at the same time its stature evokes a masculine feel, making it “almost a little bit androgynous,” she says.

“I think that’s important that when you’re hosting you want to make sure that everyone feels welcome … and represented,” she adds.

Making sure your tablescape has more than one color gives it a particular vibrancy, according to Taylor.
