UNICEF has made helping children around the world a little bit easier.

All you have to do is leave your phone alone.

“For every 10 minutes you don’t touch your phone, Giorgio Armani Fragrances and other generous donors can fund one day of clean water for a child in need,” according to UNICEF

An easy way I contribute is by going to the website before I go to sleep at night. That way, when my phone is still while I sleep it still does some good.

At the conclusion of your time away from your phone, the website gives you the option to donate money in order to provide more clean water. They ask for $5, which gives 200 days of clean water.

By going to uniceftapproject.org in your smartphone’s browser and leaving your phone alone is one easy way to help people around the world.

You don’t have to travel or give monetary donations to help out the larger community. This is just one easy way to give back no matter where in the world you are.
