Stats on designer diversity at NY Fashion Week 2016. Sample of 80 designers. — This infographic displays the origin of 80 designers that displayed their work at the 2016 Paris Fashion Week. The majority of designers hailed from France, Japan and Italy, with a surprising number of Third Culture Kid designers. Many of the designers currently reside in France and moved to Paris in order to better pursue their careers in fashion. Many of the designers already have a global perspective whether or not they are TCKs because they have spent their adult lives moving from country to country.
