Baked French Toast and Raspberry Sauce

This baked French toast can actually be made ahead by soaking the bread in eggs overnight.  When ready, bake for half an hour and then enjoy baked French Toast that Sarah Carey from Martha Stewart Everyday Foods calls better than the original French toast. Do you have a nonstick baking mat (or three)? If not, you should really get one — they are great for baking cookies (no need to grease the baking sheets) and last forever. Today I’m using mine to bake my French toast.
