Ruth VanReken is a second generation Third Culture Adult.  Though she lives in Indiana, it was a long time before she called it home. Co-Author of Third Culture Kids: Growing up Among Worlds, and Author of Letters Never Sent, she is often viewed as the mother of the Global Nomad movement.  In this TED Global talk, she talks about how her experience is more and more becoming the norm.
