When you think of classic Hollywood style, you can’t help but to think of Fashion Icon, Carolina Herrera. With over 30 years in the luxury fashion business, Herrera is best known for her “chic style.”
She likes the idea of experimentation, and is constantly testing how a piece fits and moves as decisions are being made about draping and construction. Carolina grew up in the Fifties and Sixties in Caracas, Venezuela, and has a strong appreciation for the past which is reflective in all of her collections.
Herrera’s own personal style signature usually incorporates a white collared button down blouse (usually with the sleeves rolled up to the three quarter mark) and a skirt. When you think of Carolina Herrera, you can’t help but to instantaneously visualize this particular look first and foremost. Herrera is undoubtedly a style icon and living fashion design legend. She’s even dressed the First Ladies of the United States from Jacqueline Onassis to Michelle Obama. The designer discussed her Spring/Summer 2015 Collection, educated buyers, and even styled guests during her intimate appearance.
