If you grew up outside your passport country due to your parent’s job, or were forced to leave your home country due to violence or civil strife, you might have needed an imaginary friend to help you cope.

There just happens to be a movie coming out this year about such imaginary friends.

From writer and director John Krasinski, “IF” is about a girl who discovers that she can see everyone’s imaginary friends — and what she does with that superpower — as she embarks on an adventure to reconnect forgotten IFs with their kids.

“IF” stars Cailey Fleming, Ryan Reynolds, John Krasinski and Fiona Shaw as well as the voices of Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Louis Gossett Jr., Alan Kim, Liza Colón-Zayas and Steve Carell alongside many more as the characters that reflect the power of a child’s imagination.

“IF” releases in theaters on May 17. Check out the trailer below.
