Tim Tebow has had a great impact on society. I would consider him someone that shows cultural fluidity while he played with the NFL.
Tebow is someone that has immersed himself in different countries to bring hope and resources to people struggling with sickness or poverty. As Tebow immerses himself into different cultures, he learns a lot and uses the things he learns to reach a larger group of people and to bring the cultural things he has learned to different parts of the world to educate others.
Once he joined the NFL, “Tebowing” became the thing to do around the world.

Tim Tebow has worked especially close with the Philippines when he opened the Tim Tebow CURE hospital in the Philippines. This hospital went to give care to children in need who would not be able to receive it otherwise.
One unique thing that Tebow offers is that with the different foundations he is opening and partnering with around the world, one of his main goals is to offer help spiritually as well. He encourages the people within his foundation to read the Bible and get to know more about Jesus.
This would also be considered culturally fluid because he is bringing his Christian faith to others and sharing his belief with others in hopes of bringing people to Jesus.
Impact on the NFL
Not only has Tebow brought his Christian faith to hospitals and people around the world, but he has also always brought it to the NFL.
The league has said there have always been players that have shared their faith publicly on the field, but there was something different about Tim Tebow.
While some only showed their faith on the field, making people wonder what their intention was behind it or if it was genuine, Tebow was different because he showed his faith in many ways off the field too, making people believe that his intentions were pure and that he was a man of faith.
Tebow was a special player that people enjoyed watching. Professional basketball player Jeremy Lin said, “Watching Tim Tebow play football, you can observe many things about his character. You see his fierce competitiveness, his strong work ethic and how he is a leader that his teammates trust and respect.”
Another thing that made Tebow stand out from the rest was the eye black he wore to games. The eyeblack he wore would have the verse John 3:16 written on it. When Tebow would wear that eye black, he was later told that 94 million people googled what the verse stood for. This showed Tebow that he was reaching people around the world and teaching people about his Christian beliefs just by the Bible verse he had worn with his eye black.

Although there is not an actual statistic that show how many people grew in their Christian faith due to Tebow, we know that the data is there, and that people have expressed their gratitude to him for being who he is and sharing his faith with the world.
