Fauna Hodel has dedicated her life to overcoming color. Her mission is to share “the color of love,” as she says, she’s “so over the race card.”  A caucasian-American who was raised by a black family in segregation era Reno Nevada, and who thought she was black until her early 20s, Hodel’s story truly is remarkable.  It’s a story of tenacity, of determination, of giving, living and loving.

It’s a story she must share in her effort to make a difference.  The video above is Fauna’s keynote at the Diversity Summit at Colorado State University. Below is a brief video of her life, and clips from the movie about her life.
