The second season of “Frog and Toad,” the celebrated animated series based on Arnold Lobel’s beloved Caldecott and Newbery Honor-winning books, premiered globally on May 31.

The series follows two amphibian friends navigating the balance between outdoor adventures and the cozy familiarity of home. Frog thrives on new experiences, while Toad is a homebody. Despite their differences, their enduring friendship ensures they support each other through every adventure.

Starring Academy Award winner Nat Faxon and Emmy Award nominee Kevin Michael Richardson, “Frog and Toad” continues to charm audiences with its heartwarming tales of friendship. The show explores the unique bond between Frog and Toad, who celebrate what makes them unique.

Returning to the voice cast are Ron Funches, Fortune Feimster, Yvette Nicole Brown, Margaret Cho, Cole Escola, Aparna Nancherla, John Hodgman, Stephen Tobolowsky, Tom Kenny, Selene Luna and Betsy Sodaro. This season also welcomes new guest stars Jaime Camil and Cristo Fernandez, adding fresh dynamics to the series.

Produced by Lionsgate Television in collaboration with 3Pas Studios, Zihuatanejo Productions and The Tannenbaum Company, Emmy Award-winning showrunner Rob Hoegee helms “Frog and Toad.” Titmouse, known for its work on “Duck and Goose” and “The Legend of Vox Machina,” produced the “Frog and Toad” animation.

Executive producers include Hoegee, Adrianne Lobel, Adam Lobel, Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio and Ben Kalina.

“Frog and Toad” joins Apple TV+’s acclaimed lineup of children and family programming, which includes “The Velveteen Rabbit,” “The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse,” “Luck” and “Wolfwalkers.” The platform’s diverse offerings continue to receive critical acclaim and industry recognition, with many awards and nominations.
