The Wrist Twist is a beneficial technique to implement, especially if you’ve been sitting at the computer or another stationary position for too long! Titanya offers this exercise as a great way to help increase circulation and move lymph tissue in the wrists, arms, and shoulders. She also adds, “This is great for stiffness and any numbness that you may feel.”
To begin this technique, stretch both arms out far and wide. Lead with your thumbs first and twist them back, allowing your wrists and arms to follow as much as you are comfortable. Next, lead with your baby fingers and twist forward, so that your wrists and arms are following now in the opposite direction. Do this a few times each day to get that circulation and lymph moving!
