A world class, premier culinary event, the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen Colorado is not one to be missed. On its 33rd year, this festival consists of three memorable days of celebrity chefs, renowned winemakers, and epicurean insiders. The festival takes place on June 19th and finishes on June 21st.

 

Food & Wine is a magazine that is published monthly and was founded in 1978 by Ariane and Michael Batterberry. The Food & Wine magazine is dedicated to providing readers with in depth restaurant reviews, travel information, cooking tips, recipes, and seasonal/holiday content.

Although this event is open to the public, the tickets are a little pricier than the other food festivals out there. At $1,350 per ticket, festival goers will have access to cooking demonstrations, wine tastings, and access to the Grand Tasting Pavilion for the entirety of the festival.

 

Each day brings something new. Friday highlights keynote speakers and chefs that will be presenting cooking tips and the insider story to classic wines and champagnes from around the world. Saturday brings in speakers like Andrew Zimmern and Ken Oringer that will discuss Classic One Pot Cookery and an event called “Paella Party”. Sunday will conclude with talks from Sommelier, Shayn Bjornholm and In The Kitchen with Top Chef, Mei Lin.

 

This year brings some of the top chefs from around the world including Tyler Florence, Anthony Giglio, Kristen Kish, Masaharu Morimoto, Marcus Samuelsson, Andrew Zimmern and many many more.
